At a high-level symposium hosted by the Institute of Global Leadership and Administration titled “The Future of Jobs: Is Labour Ready for AI?”, Permanent Secretary for Skills Audit and Development, Ambassador Rudo Chitiga, issued a stark warning about the nation’s preparedness for the AI-driven economy. In her keynote address, Ambassador Chitiga revealed an urgent need to retool Zimbabwe’s workforce.

The Permanent Secretary highlighted alarming mismatches between Zimbabwe’s training programs and emerging job markets, calling for urgent curriculum overhauls to prioritize modern and future skills.
