The Ministry of Skills Audit and Development has officially launched the Zimbabwe Global Skills Partnership Programme (ZGSPP) and its ZGSPP Digital Hub, the central coordination and governance platform for Zimbabwe’s national skills placement system.
Cabinet approved the ZGSPP on 30 September 2025, mandating the Ministry to identify, coordinate, develop, and deploy Zimbabwe’s human capital through structured international labour migration.
The Hub operationalises this mandate by managing skills identification, placement, monitoring, and protection of Zimbabwean workers placed abroad, while ensuring that every placement strengthens domestic skills capacity. The launch marks Zimbabwe’s decisive shift from policy approval to disciplined implementation, consistent with the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS 2) and Vision 2030.
